How we test and rank AI SEO software
A ranking is only worth as much as its method. Here are our criteria, our sources, what we refuse to do, and who runs this site.
What do we evaluate?
We score each tool on public, checkable evidence, never on invented ratings or fake reviews. When a fact is not public, we mark it rather than guessing.
Our comparison rests on five criteria:

| Automation vs control | How much it produces on autopilot vs how much manual work it expects. |
| Who it fits | Solo founders, PMEs, e-commerce, agencies, or enterprise. |
What we do not do
- No paid rankings. A tool cannot buy a better position.
- No invented ratings. We do not display star scores we made up or fake user reviews.
- No guessed data. Unverifiable facts are marked, not filled in.
- No competitor bashing. We describe strengths and limits factually.
Who operates this site?
Disclosure. This site is operated by the team behind Sorank, an AI SEO software that also appears in our ranking. We think Sorank is an excellent tool and we say why, with reasons you can check. We still cover competitors fairly, list their strengths, and tell you when another tool fits your case better. This page exists so you can weigh our recommendation with that context in mind.
Publishing this openly is the point: a comparison that hid its ownership would mislead you. You will find the same disclosure on every page where Sorank is discussed.
